The Evergreen State College
Since opening our doors in 1971, The Evergreen State College has established a national reputation for leadership in developing innovative interdisciplinary, collaborative and team-taught academic programs. Evergreen has a vibrant undergraduate program, three graduate programs, and public service centers that constitute a unique academic setting. Evergreen has been a leader in environmental education from the beginning. In recent years, the college has stepped up its commitment to responsibility to reach beyond the classroom and even the campus. Evergreen values a student-centered learning environment, a link between theory and practice, and a multicultural community of diverse faculty, students and staff working together. Current enrollment is approximately 4,300.
Murrelet Survival Project
Murrelet Survival Project is a campaign organized by several conservation organizations in Washington state to raise awareness for the marbled murrelet and implement a long-term conservation strategy for its survival. The campaign is committed to working cooperatively to find common-ground solutions which benefit all residents of our state.
